My friends, I must tell you that I have just returned from viewing one of the greatest movies of all time. The Phantom of the Opera. It's 2 and a half hours long and it is brilliant for every second. It would be a crime for me to not demand that you see this film. The singing touches the soul. I still have goosebumps, even 30 minutes after it ended. Now, to repeat: GO SEE THIS FILM!!!

Not too sure about it - some of the reviews have been pretty bad - I'll probably see it on Dvd when it comes out. I can recommend Alexander though (even though the reviews have been awful) - it really isn't as bad as people have said and in my opinion is quite good at showing the real man behind the myth. As an Ancient History graduate it was interesting to see that period in history shown on screen, even if there was a lot of romanticising about Alexander's aims of conquest - all that brotherhood of man nonsense was a bit much - he was a brutal dictator and ruthless conqueror every bit as much a s someone like Genghis Khan or Tamerlaine. :)Happy 2005 to you Golyadkin by the way!!! Do you still visit the John Keats BB anymore? (it's deader than a dorrnail at the moment)
