Hi Golyadkin, I'm a new member. I found the site from a link on the john-keats.com profile page. I have been enjoying contributing to that forum (under my real name) and decided to check out your own. I hope you welcome foreigners and not just people from the U.S. and Texas!
Are you really only 16? Is the name from a Russian novel? Have you ever read Pushkin's Eugene Onegin?
How did you get to become a moderator? I have only just got the internet at home at the grand old age of 24 - I hope I'm not too old to participate in your forum.
I chose the Charlie Brown picture as I love the way he always looked and acted like an adult but was still a kid inside. That's pretty much me. I'm sorry I accidentally created another member, (what a fool) Poesyaddict and I can't get rid of him - can you destroy him painlessly?
I hope to add something to this site as the Keats forum has descended into nothing more than a place where people too lazy and stupid to think for themselves get others to do their work for them and don't bother to read or reply to my posts.
A reply here would be nice, and you can ask me any questions you like. I hope to post some stuff later. Bye! "I will clamber through the clouds and exist"

Welcome Maddalo, You seem to have a lot of questions, and I'll do my best to answer them: Yes, I welcome people from all over the world, the problem is getting them to actually visit my site. Yes, I am only 16. Yes, the name Golyadkin is from Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel The Double. The full name is Yakov Petrovich Golyadkin. No, I have never read Pushkin's Eugene Onegin. I became a moderator at the John Keats forum by asking Thilo to hire me. Making my case for me was the fact that I was already a mod at www.fyodordostoevsky.com (I have since been fired). I got that job by contributing many of the e-texts available on that site. On most sites, all you have to do is ask to be a mod, and you'll either be told no, or told what you need to do to get hired. No, you are not too old to participate in my forum. I grew up in the same area (within about 50 miles) as Charles Schulz (where he lived in his later years). Consider your other member gone. Hope that answers all of your questions!
